A FEW TIPS ON CERAMIC CARE....

Handmade ceramics are more delicate than mass-produced pottery. They are built for everyday use but will benefit from some extra care when using, cleaning and storing.

I suggest that you hand-wash or rinse your functional items after use with light dish soap and a soft cloth (no harsh chemicals or abrasive materials). Do not leave liquid in them for long periods of time.

Also they will last longer if you don't use them in the dishwasher or microwave.

Moving your ceramics directly from cold environments to hot environments (such as the freezer to the oven) will create rapid expansion across the material and may cause your ceramics to crack or break.

Please be sure your functional ceramic piece is at room temperature before placing it in a hot oven or filling it with hot liquid.

Avoid placing your decorative ceramics near intense heat or freezing conditions.
